This was a CIA Dive Club dive which took place at Phillip's Quarry in Muncie Indiana on November 8, 2008. Despite the clod cloudy day and the wind picking up after the fist dive it was a fun day. As we sat in the heated dressing room we debated if we should do a second dive. After the dive we were all glad we decided to stay.

This was a CIA Dive Club dive which took place at Phillip's Quarry in Muncie Indiana on November 8, 2008. Despite the cold cloudy day and the wind picking up after the fist dive it was a fun day. At the beginning of the fist dive we hit almost a totally black environment and some were thinking about aborting the dive all together. We regrouped and went on to have an enjoyable first dive.

The camera angle was 45-degrees down to avoid the prop, so when you see the horizon it's because I was climbing or stalled in a headwind. Wind was in the 5+ mph range.
Yes, grass is very very boring. This was more of a "Can I even do this?" flight. My first time out flying by myself and only the second or third time I've soloed takeoff-to-landing.
